Rules

  1. MEF membership is published individually and every member is recorded in MEF’s data base.
  2. MEF membership is open for Indonesia citizen and foreigners who lives in Indonesia.
  3. MEF’s facility cannot be traded and transferable.
  4. Merpati has the right to use MEF’s personal data information for marketing or operational purposes, internally or cooperation with other party.
  5. Membership card only valid for the owner him/herself, for the purposes and objectives related to MEF membership
  6. A person may only have one MEF membership. If a member have more than one membership, then only one number is recognized.
  7. All privileges and facilities provided for MEF members which are baggage addition, executive lounge (Platinum + Gold card) only valid in Merpati’s flight.
  8. MEF Center has the right to conduct MEF data members audit at any time, without requiring permission MEF members.
  9. Merpati have the authority to take any action against any violation of the terms and conditions of this membership.
  10. Merpati are not responsible for any risks caused by MEF membership abuse.
  11. All decisions made by Merpati, related to MEF membership is absolute and cannot be interrupted.
  12. Marketing programs or other programs implemented by the MEF Center is basically only valid for MEF members as specified in the program.
  13. MEF membership can be terminated at any time without notification due to these following conditions:
    • Invalid data members,
    • Point acquisition abuse,
    • Conduct or involved in MEF provisions violation acts and other regulations,
    • Submitting a written membership termination or resignation request.
  14. Award points of the terminated member which have not been used, is no longer valid and cannot be exchanged.
  15. Points earned can be credited only once for each activity and only recorded on one frequent flyer program.
  16. The point earned will be based on the value set by Merpati.
  17. Points are accumulated based on the eligible flight activity.
  18. Points will only be given based on the type of flight and fare class.
  19. Point rewards will only valid for an eligible flight which are tickets on C/D/I/Y/S/W/H/B/K/L/M/N flight class, except for V/Z flight class, promo fare, sponsorship tickets, free tickets, staff fare tickets, and industrial discount fare tickets.
  20. If there is a difference in total point between point which should be obtained and point recorded in MEF database, Merpati has the authority to pick out the true number of points.
  21. Claim for flight point which has not been recorded, can be done for at least 3 months from the date of flight departure. By showing the claim documents, original boarding passes, and tickets.
  22. Claim value on missing report is based on flight subclasses.
  23. Award ticket validity period of 1 (one) month from the issue date and cannot be extended.
  24. Award ticket can only be issued at Merpati Ticketing Office.
  25. Award ticket can only be issued for the identified and adequate entry point.
  26. Award point redemption values necessary for award ticket is basically refer to the table exchange point and does not apply for stop over passenger.
  27. If flight schedule members desired is not available, point needed to be exchanged with award ticket will be calculated by summing each passed sectors.
  28. Redeem point on the unlisted route on table exchange point will still be calculated by summing each passed sectors.
  29. Redeemed point which has not been used can be credited back.
  30. For every cancellation using award ticket will be charged refers to the ticket rules and regulations.
  31. Merpati has the right to terminate MEF Program at any time, with or without notification.
  32. Merpati do not responsible for every loss as caused from termination or changing in the program.
