How do I book my flight?

You can book your flight through Contact Center 0804-1-621621, www.merpati.co.id website, visit to our Ticketing Office or contact the nearest travel agent.
 

How do I pay a ticket?

Once you book your flight at Call Center or through www.merpati.co.id, you can pay it via ATM (Bank Mandiri, OCBC NISP), Internet Banking (Internet Banking Mandiri, KlikBCA, OCBC NISP, CIMB Click) or by Credit Card Visa / Mastercard on the website www.merpati.co.id. If you have problem doing payment, please contact our Call Center staff.
 

When do I have to book my flight?

Booking through Call Center can be made at least 6 (six) hours prior to departure while booking through website www.merpati.co.id must be made no later than 24 (twenty four) hours prior to flight departure.
 

When does deadline for payment of my booking.

Payment must be made no later than 2 hours after you make a booking. Your booking will be canceled automatically if payment time limit due. Payment via credit card on the website www.merpati.co.id only be performed for booking made over 24 hours either via www.merpati.co.id and Call Center
 

Can I change the name on my booking?

Change name can be done only if you have not made payment yet. Change name must be made through our Call Center or through our Ticketing Office.
 

How do I make group booking (for booking of more than 9 passengers).

For group booking, you should contact our Ticketing Office in your city.
 

Can I change the flight schedule?

Change of flight schedules can be done in accordance with the conditions of ticket purchased. Read the ticket rules carefully.
 

Where do I make the refund?

Refund process can be done in our Ticketing office for ticket purchased at our ticketing office, call center or website www.merpati.co.id. For tickets purchased at the travel agent then refund must be made through a travel agent who issued the ticket.
 

What causes the failure of payment by ATM.

Some factors that often lead to failure of payment by ATM are:
  1. Take long time typing payment code so that the payment transaction time out
  2. The system is undergoing maintenance or trouble
  3. There is interference between Bank’s network system and Merpati’s reservation system.

Can I purchase ticket for other passenger with my credit card?

You can buy ticket for other passenger with your credit card at www.merpati.co.id with conditions as follows : you must fill and submit the "Letter of Indemnity Merpati Nusantara of Purchase with Credit Card", copies of ID card and photocopy of credit card used for payment to verification@merpati.co.id or fax to 021-57956880. "Letter of Indemnity Merpati Nusantara of Purchase with Credit Card" can be downloaded at www.merpati.co.id.
 

Why I was rejected upon check-in when I made payments through the ATM.

Most cases is because you make a payment when your booking was cancel because of overdue payments. If you have this case, then you are required to re-purchase a ticket through our Ticketing office at the airport (subject to seat availability). We will refund your old transaction. For your convenience, after making a payment through ATM please contact our Call Center. Our Call Center staff will ensure your ticket status and will send you an e-ticket to your email.
 

Why I can’t make a payment via credit card on the website www.merpati.co.id?

Payment through website www.merpati.co.id only intended for Credit Card Visa / Mastercard issued by local Bank and Bank in certain countries. If you can not make payment with your credit card, perhaps your credit card is issued by the Bank that is not in our list.
 

Can I make payments through travel agent for booking made at Call Center or website www.merpati.co.id?

If your booking is made through the Call Center and website www.merpati.co.id, payment can only be done through our payment channels (ATM, Internet Banking, Credit Card, Ticketing Office), payment through travel agent is not allow.
 

Why I can’t book for my baby?

For safety reason, the number of infants in each flight is limited to 10% of available seat capacity. when you make a booking for your baby, allotment for infant is over quota so we reject your booking request. For Infant reservation please contact 'Call Merpati' 0804 1 621 621 or Merpati Airlines Branch Office
 

How old is gestational age that still allows for a flight?

If you are pregnant, you are still acceptable to fly if your gestational age between 3 (month) up to 7 (seven) months. Our officers are entitled to request you to complete a medical letter and signed the "Letter of Exemption of Liability" at check-in.
 

Where can I request wheelchair service?

You can reserve for Wheelchair service when you book your flight through Call Center or visit our Ticketing Office. This service is free of charge.
 

How to make a reservation for Medical Evacuation / stretcher case?

You should contact our Ticketing Office in your city. Read detail of the service at www.merpati.co.id (Product & Services).
 

Can I bring an animal onboard?

Animals can be carried in flight by being placed in the luggage compartment of the aircraft. Please contact our Office for further details.
